Joint Session of the Indian Parliament

Agenda : Elucidating privacy and its implications as a right.

It's time for you to get acquainted with the fourth Committee to be simulated at the Delhi Public School, Eldeco Model United Nations.

Privacy is an inherent, intrinsic and inevitable human right and a prerequisite for maintaining the human condition with dignity and respect.

Stemming from this belief, we can rightfully say that Right to Privacy has been one of the most controversial yet an agenda at the paramount of importance in contemporary Indian politics. While there are dimetrically opposite views on the primacy of Right to privacy, in this Committee, the Parliamentarians will have to negotiate, deliberate and achieve consensus.

This agenda will not only test their research skills but will help them to enhance their insight and learn more about the Indian politics because if privacy is outlawed, only outlaws will have privacy.

See you all in August.
